The Supreme Court decision in Skrmetti v. United States permits states to deny access to gender-affirming care for minors. This puts politicians in charge of a care plan that families, medical professionals, and patients carefully evaluated and initiated on an individual, case-by-case basis.

Did you know that estimates consistently show approximately .95% of U.S. adults identify as transgender, while in the age group of 13-17, about 1.4% identify as transgender, though estimates vary by survey.
