Pride Month display at NYC's Stonewall National Monument excludes transgender flags

The transgender flags that usually adorn the Stonewall National Monument in New York City during Pride Month were missing this year, so some New Yorkers are taking matters into their own hands.

This comes as the National Park Service is accused of actively erasing transgender visibility and history.

Supreme Court issues devastating ruling for trans youth in Tennessee gender-affirming care ban case

One expert said that the decision basically legalizes anti-trans discrimination in all forms.

The ruling says that Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care does not discriminate on the basis of sex or transgender status, which the plaintiffs argued made it unconstitutional under the Equal Protection Clause. The ruling will allow the 25 states that currently have such bans on the books to continue to enforce them.

The Pennsylvania Youth Congress remains in steadfast solidarity with trans young Pennsylvanians and their families in fighting for a better world where discrimination and denial of medically-necessary healthcare no longer exist. This afternoon, the Pennsylvania Youth Congress assembled an emergency meeting of the Pennsylvania Coalition of LGBTQ+ Organizations, a network of over 60 LGBTQ+ community organizations throughout Pennsylvania that PYC facilitates, and this evening hosted a meeting for Parent Warriors, a network of hundreds of parents of trans and gender expansive children in PA.
